The front plate raise is a variation of the front dumbbell raise that uses a weight plate instead of dumbbells.

How to Perform the Front Plate Raise:

  1. Hold the Plate: Grasp a weight plate with both hands at the sides or top.
  2. Raise the Plate: Lift the plate straight in front of you until your arms are parallel to the floor.
  3. Lower the Plate: Slowly return the plate to the starting position.
