Shakshuka with Ground Beef – Ingredients (Serves 1)
- 150g ground beef
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup tomato sauce (or chopped tomatoes)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the ground beef until browned. - Add onion & garlic
Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. - Add tomato sauce
Stir in tomato sauce and spices. Let simmer for 5–10 minutes. - Add eggs
Make small spaces and crack eggs into the sauce. - Cook eggs
Cover and cook until eggs reach desired doneness. - Serve
Serve hot with bread or on its own.
